Powerful Prayer for Against Fear

Father, I'm anxious about things that might never happen. Help me to stay present in this moment, the only moment I actually have. Help me to notice what is good right here, right now. Open my eyes to the evidence of your faithfulness in my life. Remind me of times you've come through for me. Help me to trust that you will continue to do so. Guard my mind from spiral thinking. When worry tries to take hold, help me to ground myself in reality and in your promises. Give me the gift of peace that surpasses understanding. Amen.

Jesus, I bring my anxiety before you right now, because I know you care about every concern that weighs on my heart. My mind is racing with what-ifs and worries, and I feel the physical tension of fear in my body. But I'm choosing to remember that you are bigger than every fear I face. You are not surprised by my struggles, and you are not disappointed in me for feeling this way. Help me to breathe deeply and remember that anxiety is a liar—it tells me I should be afraid, but you tell me I am loved and protected. Calm my nervous system. Replace my worry with peace, my doubt with faith, my fear with trust. Help me to take one moment at a time, one breath at a time, knowing that you are present in each one. Thank you for your compassion and your commitment to me. Amen.

Help me to trust that life unfolds as it should, even when I don't understand why.
