Remind her that she does not have to hold everything together because You are holding her. Surround her with people who notice what she needs before she has to ask. Renew her energy and guard her health. Let her feel, deep in her bones, that she is loved not for what she does but for who she is. I am so grateful You gave her to me. Lord, my mother is facing a decision that keeps her up at night, and I hate watching her wrestle with it alone. You promise in James 1:5 that if anyone lacks wisdom, they should ask You, and You give generously without finding fault. So I am asking on her behalf right now. Clear away the noise and the opinions of everyone around her. Speak to her in that quiet way only You can. Give her clarity that cuts through confusion and peace that confirms the right path. Protect her from fear of making the wrong choice, because I know You are big enough to redirect any step she takes. Let her feel Your hand on her shoulder, steady and sure. God, I do not say this enough, and honestly neither does the world, but my mother is a gift. Every early morning she got up before the house stirred, every prayer she whispered over me when I did not even know she was praying, every sacrifice she made without keeping score—You saw all of it. Proverbs 31:28 says her children rise up and call her blessed, and that is what I want to do right now. Bless her, Lord. Bless her with laughter that comes easily and friendships that fill her cup. Bless her with health and with moments of pure, uninterrupted joy. Let her know that the seeds she planted in my life are growing into something beautiful. Show her the fruit. Heavenly Father, I bring my mother's body and health before You today. You formed her in the womb and You know every cell, every heartbeat, every ache she tries to downplay. I ask for Your healing touch wherever she needs it. Strengthen what is weak. Restore what is worn. Psalm 41:3 says You sustain her on her sickbed and restore her from her bed of illness. I am holding You to that promise. Protect her from sickness and from the anxiety that comes with getting older. Give her doctors who listen and treatment that works. But more than physical health, guard her heart and her mind. Keep depression and loneliness far from her door. Fill her days with purpose and her nights with peaceful sleep. She has spent her whole life taking care of others. Let this be a season where she is the one being cared for. In Jesus' name, Amen.
