Lord, I miss my wife's joy. Somewhere between the responsibilities, the disappointments, and the relentless pace of life, the spark has dimmed. Surprise her with something good. Let her laugh until she cries. Remove the heaviness that sits on her chest and replace it with a lightness that has no earthly explanation. Show me how to be part of the solution and not another demand on her time. Create space for the things that make her come alive—the hobbies she abandoned, the dreams she shelved, the rest she keeps postponing. She deserves more than survival mode, Lord. God, my wife needs women in her life who get her. Real friends, not surface-level acquaintances who only talk about the weather and the kids. She needs the kind of friendships described in Proverbs 27:17—iron sharpening iron, women who challenge and comfort her in equal measure. I am asking You to bring those people into her life. Remove the loneliness that she carries so quietly. Break down the barriers that make her feel like she does not fit in. Give her a community where she can be honest about her struggles without being judged, where she can celebrate her wins without feeling guilty. Help me to encourage her to say yes when invitations come, even when the schedule is tight. She was not made to do life alone, and neither was I. Heavenly Father, I want my wife to know she is cherished. Not tolerated, not taken for granted, not just appreciated on Mother's Day and anniversaries—but genuinely cherished every single day. Song of Solomon 4:7 says, "You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you." That is how I want her to see herself. Quiet the lies that tell her she is too much or not enough. Push back the insecurity that creeps in when she compares herself to other women. Show her who she is through Your eyes—chosen, beautiful, irreplaceable. And Lord, help me to be a man whose words and actions confirm what You are telling her spirit. Make me more attentive, more generous with my praise, more intentional with my time. She is the best thing that ever happened to me after You, and I want her to know it in her bones. In Jesus' name, Amen.
