Rest in the truth of who God says you are — chosen, beloved, and wonderfully made.
Father, the world has so many opinions about who I should be, and I confess that I have listened to those voices more than Yours. But Psalm 139:14 says I am fearfully and wonderfully made, and I want to believe that with my whole heart, not just my head. The labels people have put on me — not enough, too much, broken, unlovable — those are lies, and I reject them today. Speak Your truth over me, Lord. Remind me that I am Yours, that You chose me before the foundation of the world, and that nothing I do or fail to do can change my value in Your eyes. Second Corinthians 5:17 says that in Christ I am a new creation. The old has gone and the new has come. Help me to live from that reality instead of constantly trying to earn my place. I am not defined by my performance, my past, or other people's perceptions. I am defined by Your love. Let that be enough for me today. Amen.
Lord, I come to You honestly today. There are lies I have believed about myself for so long that they feel like truth. Lies that say I am not smart enough, not talented enough, not worthy of love or good things. But Your Word demolishes every stronghold, and I ask You to demolish these lies right now. First Peter 2:9 says I am chosen, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession. That is who I am. Not because I earned it, but because You declared it. Help me to replace every lie with the truth of Scripture. When the enemy whispers that I am worthless, let me hear You saying I am precious. When insecurity tells me to shrink back, let Your Spirit remind me that I was made on purpose, for a purpose. I am tired of living small because I forgot who I belong to. Today I choose to stand in my identity as Your child. Uproot every false belief and plant Your Word deep in my heart where it cannot be shaken. Amen.
Heavenly Father, You did not make a mistake when You made me. Ephesians 2:10 calls me Your handiwork, Your masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus for good works You planned long before I took my first breath. Yet I struggle with confidence. I look at others and wish I had their gifts, their personality, their story. Forgive me for dishonoring Your design by wishing I were someone else. You gave me this specific combination of strengths, weaknesses, experiences, and passions for a reason. Help me to steward what You have given me instead of longing for what You gave someone else. I want to walk in the confidence that comes not from self-assurance but from knowing that the God of the universe crafted me with intention. When self-doubt creeps in, anchor me in the truth that I am enough because You are enough in me. Let me stop apologizing for how You made me and start celebrating it. I trust Your design, Lord. Amen.
God, Second Corinthians 5:17 says that if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation — the old has gone, the new is here. I believe that, but some days I still feel like the old version of me. Old habits, old thought patterns, old shame — they try to drag me back to who I used to be. I need Your help to walk in the newness You have already given me. It is not something I need to earn; it is something I need to receive. Open my eyes to see myself the way You see me — redeemed, restored, and radically loved. Psalm 139:14 says Your works are wonderful, and that includes me. Help me to live from my identity, not for my identity. I do not need to prove anything to anyone because You have already proven everything on the cross. My identity is settled. My worth is established. My future is secure. Let me walk in that freedom today without looking back. Thank You for making all things new, including me. Amen.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
