Lord, I have an interview coming up and my nerves are running high. I've prepared as much as I can, but I know that ultimately this is in Your hands. Proverbs 16:3 says to commit my work to You and my plans will be established. So right now, I commit this interview to You completely. Give me clarity of mind to articulate my experience and skills well. Help me to be authentic rather than performative — to be the person You created me to be, not a polished version I think they want to see. Calm my racing heart and steady my voice. If this job is part of Your plan for me, open the door wide. If it's not, close it clearly so I don't waste time chasing the wrong opportunity. As Jeremiah 29:11 reminds me, You have plans to prosper me, plans to give me a hope and a future. I trust those plans even when I can't see them yet. Go before me into that interview room, Lord. Let Your favor rest on me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Father, thank You for this new job. After all the applications, the waiting, and the uncertainty, You have opened a door and I am so grateful. But if I'm honest, I'm also a little anxious. New environments, new people, new expectations — it can feel overwhelming. Lord, help me to walk into this new season with confidence, not in myself but in You. As Colossians 3:23-24 instructs, let me work at this job with all my heart, as working for You and not for human bosses. Help me to learn quickly, ask good questions, and build genuine relationships with my new colleagues. Give me the humility to admit what I don't know and the diligence to figure it out. Psalm 37:5 says to commit my way to You and You will act. I commit this new chapter to You, Father. Use me as a light in this workplace. Heavenly Father, I feel like I'm standing at a crossroads in my career and I don't know which way to go. Multiple options are in front of me, and each one has its pros and cons. I don't want to make this decision based on salary alone, or prestige, or what other people think I should do. I want to go where You are leading. Psalm 37:5 tells me to commit my way to You and trust You to act. So I'm laying all these options at Your feet right now. Close the doors that aren't from You, even if they look attractive. Open the door that leads to Your purpose for my life, even if it doesn't make sense on paper. Give me peace as a confirmation when I'm moving in the right direction. As Colossians 3:23-24 reminds me, whatever I end up doing, I want to do it wholeheartedly for You. Show me the role where I can best use the gifts You've given me to serve others and bring You glory. I don't need to see the whole path — just the next step. Guide me, Lord. Amen.
