Seek God's plan for your life and step boldly into the calling He has prepared for you.
Father, I feel restless. There is something stirring inside me that I cannot quite name, a sense that You have created me for more than what I am currently doing. Jeremiah 29:11 promises that You have plans to prosper me, plans for a hope and a future, and I cling to that today. But Lord, I need clarity. The noise of the world drowns out Your still small voice, and I struggle to discern which direction to go. Quiet my anxious thoughts and help me to be still long enough to hear You. I do not need the full roadmap — just the next step. Reveal the gifts You have placed inside me and show me how to use them for Your glory. If I am already walking in my purpose and cannot see it, open my eyes. If I need to make a change, give me the courage to move. I surrender my plans and pick up Yours, trusting that Your way is always better than anything I could design on my own. Amen.
Lord, some days feel so ordinary that I wonder if anything I do really matters. But Your Word in Ephesians 2:10 says I am Your workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works that You prepared in advance for me. That means even the small things carry weight when they are done for You. Help me to find purpose in the everyday — in the conversations, the work, the routines that seem invisible. Remind me that faithfulness in little things is the foundation for greater things. I do not want to spend my life waiting for some grand moment while missing the sacred moments right in front of me. Transform my perspective, Father. Let me see my daily life through Your eyes. Whether I am serving my family, showing up at work, or simply being kind to a stranger, let me do it all as worship. Romans 8:28 assures me that You work all things together for good. I believe that includes today, even if it feels unremarkable. Use me right where I am. Amen.
God, I am standing at a crossroads and I do not know which way to turn. Both paths seem reasonable, and I am paralyzed by the fear of choosing wrong. But Proverbs 19:21 reminds me that many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is Your purpose that prevails. That gives me peace, because even if I stumble, Your purpose cannot be thwarted. Still, I ask for wisdom right now. Speak to me through Your Word, through wise counsel, and through the peace that only Your Spirit gives. Close the doors that need closing and open the ones You want me to walk through. I release my need to control the outcome. I choose to trust that You are working even when I cannot see the full picture. Lead me step by step, Father. I would rather walk slowly in Your will than run ahead in my own strength. Wherever You lead, I will follow. My life is not my own — it belongs to You, and I would not have it any other way. Amen.
Heavenly Father, I do not want to waste the life You have given me chasing things that will not last. The world tells me purpose is found in achievement, status, and accumulation, but Your Word paints a different picture. Ephesians 2:10 says You created me for good works. Romans 8:28 says You are weaving every experience into something meaningful. I want my life to count for eternity. Align my ambitions with Your kingdom. Help me to invest my time, energy, and resources into things that will outlast me — loving people, sharing the gospel, serving the vulnerable, and making disciples. When I am tempted to chase comfort over calling, redirect my heart. When I compare my path to someone else's, remind me that You have a unique assignment for my life that no one else can fulfill. I want to hear "well done" when I stand before You someday. Shape my days so they reflect that ultimate purpose. I am Yours, Lord. Use me. Amen.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.
