When your own strength runs out, tap into the limitless power of the God who never grows weary.
Lord, I am running on empty. My body is tired, my mind is foggy, and my spirit feels depleted. I've been pushing through on my own power for too long, and I've hit a wall I cannot climb over. But Isaiah 40:31 gives me hope: "Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint." I place my hope in You right now. Renew me, Father. Not with the temporary energy that caffeine or willpower provides, but with the deep, lasting strength that comes from Your Spirit dwelling within me. Fill me from the inside out. Restore what the difficult season has drained away. Help me to stop relying solely on my own resources and start drawing from the infinite well of Your power. You never grow tired or weary. Your understanding no one can fathom. Pour that divine energy into my weary bones. Give me the strength to face today and the faith to trust You with tomorrow. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Father, I don't feel strong right now, and I'm tired of pretending I am. The truth is, I'm barely holding it together. But Second Corinthians 12:9-10 turns my weakness into an invitation: "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." What a paradox — that my emptiness becomes the very space where Your power shows up most powerfully. So instead of hiding my weakness, I bring it to You openly. Here is my exhaustion. Here is my inadequacy. Here is my fear that I am not enough. Take it all and fill it with Your supernatural strength. I don't need to be the strong one in this story. I need to be the surrendered one who lets You be strong through me. When people look at my life, I want them to see something that cannot be explained by my own abilities. I want them to see evidence of a God who shows up when human effort falls short. Use my weakness as a showcase for Your glory. I am weak, but You are strong. That's enough. In Jesus' name, Amen.
God, this trial has gone on longer than I expected, and I'm tempted to give up. The finish line feels like it keeps moving further away, and my legs are shaking. Philippians 4:13 says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." I need that strengthening now — not for a sprint, but for the marathon of endurance this season demands. Help me to keep putting one foot in front of the other even when progress feels invisible. Remind me that faithfulness in the long, unglamorous middle is just as valuable to You as the dramatic breakthrough at the end. Give me the grit to stay the course. Protect me from the temptation to take shortcuts that compromise my integrity or my faith. When discouragement whispers that it's not worth it, let Your Word shout louder that perseverance produces character, and character produces hope. I will not quit because You have not quit on me. Sustain me through this season and bring me out stronger on the other side. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Almighty God, Deuteronomy 31:6 commands, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." I receive that command and that promise together today. You don't just tell me to be strong — You promise to go with me so I don't have to be strong alone. I face situations that require more courage than I naturally possess. The hard conversation I've been avoiding. The stand I need to take for what's right. The battle I didn't choose but cannot walk away from. In each of these, I ask for a holy boldness that comes not from self-confidence but from God-confidence. You are with me. You are for me. And if You are for me, who can be against me? Plant my feet on the solid rock of Your truth so that when the winds blow and the waves crash, I remain standing. Not in my own strength — that would crumble — but in Yours, which is unshakable and eternal. I will be strong and courageous because You are my God. In Jesus' name, Amen.
"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
"I can do all this through him who gives me strength."
"But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me."
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."
