When life feels like too much, trade your heavy burden for the easy yoke of Jesus.
Lord, I am completely overwhelmed. The demands on my time, my energy, and my emotions are more than I can handle. Work deadlines, family responsibilities, financial pressures, and the constant noise of the world are closing in on me from every side. I feel like I'm drowning, and I don't know which way is up. But Matthew 11:28-30 says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Lord, I am coming to You right now, exactly as I am — stressed, stretched thin, and running on empty. I exchange my heavy yoke for Yours. Help me to identify what I need to say no to. Give me the courage to set boundaries and the wisdom to prioritize what truly matters. As Psalm 55:22 instructs, I cast my burden on You. Sustain me, Father. I cannot keep going at this pace without You. Amen.
Father, I think I've hit the wall. The passion I once had for my work, my ministry, even my daily life has faded into a numb, gray exhaustion. I'm going through the motions but feeling nothing. This is burnout, and it scares me because I don't know how to fix it. Isaiah 40:29 says You give strength to the weary and increase the power of the weak. Lord, I am weary and weak. I have nothing left to give. I've been running on fumes for longer than I want to admit, and now even the fumes are gone. Father, I need You to do what only You can do — restore my soul. Not just my energy, but my joy, my purpose, and my desire to engage with life again. Help me to stop wearing busyness as a badge of honor and start treating rest as the sacred gift You designed it to be. As Philippians 4:13 says, I can do all things through You who strengthens me — but that doesn't mean I should do all things. Teach me the difference between productivity and self-destruction. Rebuild me from the inside out. Amen.
God, everything around me is chaos. My schedule is packed, my inbox is overflowing, my house is a mess, and I can feel the stress manifesting in my body — the tension headaches, the tight shoulders, the shallow breathing. I know this isn't how You want me to live. You are not a God of chaos but of peace. As Matthew 11:28-30 promises, Your yoke is easy and Your burden is light. But right now, Lord, nothing feels easy or light. I need Your supernatural peace to descend on me like a blanket. Not the kind of peace the world gives, which is just the temporary absence of problems, but the deep, abiding peace that comes from knowing that the Creator of the universe has everything under control. As Psalm 55:22 says, I cast my cares on You. All of them — the big ones and the small ones, the urgent and the ongoing. I choose to stop white-knuckling my way through life and start resting in Your sovereignty. Breathe into me, Lord. Slow me down. Remind me that I am human, not a machine. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Heavenly Father, I come to You empty. The stress of this season has drained me physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I feel like a phone at one percent — barely functional and about to shut down. But Isaiah 40:29 promises that You give strength to the weary and increase the power of the weak. Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles. Lord, I want to soar again. I remember seasons when I felt strong, energized, and full of purpose. Stress has stolen that from me, and I want it back. Father, renew me. Not just a quick recharge but a deep, lasting restoration. Help me to build sustainable rhythms into my life — rhythms of rest, worship, exercise, and solitude that keep me connected to You as my power source. As Philippians 4:13 affirms, my strength comes from You, not from caffeine, willpower, or pushing through. As Matthew 11:28-30 invites, I come to You and I receive Your rest. Fill me up, Lord, so that I can pour out again — not from my own reserves, but from the overflow of Your Spirit. In Jesus' name, Amen.

"Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken."
"He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak."
"I can do all this through him who gives me strength."
