Prayer Copilot (“the App”) is developed by Carlos Reyes. This privacy policy explains how the App handles your information.
The App does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, or other contact details. Saved prayers, journal entries, and preferences are stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. The App collects limited usage data that is not linked to your identity, as described under Analytics.
When you request a prayer, your request, the prayer mode, and any Scripture passage or reference you are reflecting on are sent to our server to generate a personalized, Scripture-rooted response. Prayers are generated with OpenAI, a third-party AI model provider. Your request, the prayer mode, any passage or reference, and the prayer are sent to OpenAI only to generate the prayer. Under OpenAI’s API terms, this data is not used to train OpenAI’s models. We do not tie your requests to an account or to your identity, and no account or login is required. Please do not include personal or sensitive information in your requests.
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or billing details.
The App sends basic usage analytics to Supabase, which we use to store product events. Events include a random install ID, a session ID, the app version, and in-app actions such as opening the app, completing a prayer, onboarding steps, how you heard about the App, and purchase-flow events. Events do not include your name, email address, Apple ID, or the text of your prayers, and they are not linked to your identity. The app may send anonymous crash and performance reports to Sentry so we can fix bugs. These reports do not include your name, email, or prayer text. The App does not use an advertising identifier, does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and does not show third-party ads. The prayercopilot.com website uses Google Analytics and Klaviyo.

These providers process information for the services they provide to us under their respective terms and privacy policies.
Saved prayers, journal entries, and preferences are stored locally on your device. The App has no user accounts and does not sync your prayers or journal to the cloud, and we do not store them on our servers. If you delete the App, all local data is removed.
The App does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will promptly delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
