Prayer for A Prayer for Love

Lord, I bring my heart before You today, vulnerable and honest. I confess the longing I feel for love—deep, true, sacrificial love that mirrors Your heart. Heal the places in me that have been broken by rejection or disappointment. Help me to first receive and fully understand the magnitude of Your love for me, that I might overflow with genuine affection for others. Guard my heart from settling for less than Your best, and protect me from grasping or controlling. Teach me to love as You love—with patience, kindness, and unconditional acceptance. If there is someone You have for me, prepare both of our hearts. If I am to walk a season alone, help me find my wholeness and joy in You alone. Give me wisdom to see people as You see them, to love without losing myself, and to build connections rooted in faith and mutual respect. May my life be a testimony to Your transformative power.
