Prayer for A Prayer When You Feel Numb

Lord, I come to You today acknowledging the numbness that has settled over my heart. I cannot feel You the way I once did, and that terrifies me. I'm going through my days mechanically, my prayers feel hollow, and my joy seems distant. Yet I choose to believe that You are still here, even when my emotions cannot confirm it. I ask You to gently awaken my sleeping heart. Help me to feel Your compassion for me. Restore sensitivity to Your presence, not because of my performance, but because of Your faithful love toward me. Remove any spiritual armor I've built to protect myself that now only isolates me. Let me taste and see that You are good. Teach me to trust in Your reality even when my feelings lag behind. Heavenly Father, I confess that somewhere along my journey, I've become disconnected from my own heart and from You. I've pushed down my pain, suppressed my longings, and ignored my need for intimacy with You. I ask You to soften me again. Help me to feel appropriate sorrow for my sin and the brokenness around me. Restore my capacity to experience joy and gratitude. Father, I lift before You my sister who is walking through spiritual numbness and emotional emptiness. She has lost touch with her own feelings and with the reality of Your presence. She moves through her days disconnected, unmoored, unsure if anything is real anymore. I ask You to meet her in this darkness with extraordinary tenderness. Help her to recognize that numbness is not her permanent condition but a season that You can heal. Give her permission to stop performing and start being honest about her pain. Surround her with believers who will not judge her emptiness but will sit with her faithfully. Restore her appetite for prayer, for worship, for genuine connection with You. Let her know that she is not abandoned, not forgotten, not too broken for Your love. Awaken her heart to hope again. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Lord, I'm struggling because my numbness makes me question whether my faith is real. If I cannot feel You, does that mean You're not there? Have I somehow failed spiritually?
