Prayer for Freedom from Pride

Heavenly Father, I come before you acknowledging the pride that has taken root in my heart. I see how I've elevated myself, sought recognition, and resisted correction. Forgive me for the times I've stolen glory that belongs only to you. I confess that my self-reliance has created distance between us and hindered my relationships with others. Lord, reshape me from the inside out. Replace my need for validation with contentment in your love. Teach me the freedom that comes through humility—not weakness, but quiet strength rooted in you. Help me celebrate others' victories as my own, receive feedback with grace, and remember daily that everything I have comes from your hand. Break the chains of pride and create in me a humble, grateful spirit. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Lord, I lift to you a woman I love who is struggling with pride. I see how it's affecting her relationships, limiting her growth, and creating barriers in her walk with you. Open her eyes to the ways pride has distorted her perspective. Soften her heart toward conviction and help her recognize that humility isn't humiliation. I am becoming a woman of humility, generosity, and genuine confidence. This is who God created me to be, and by His grace, I am walking in it now. Amen.
