Prayer for Justice

Lord, I come before You today with a simple request: bring justice. I lay down my hurt, my anger, and my confusion at Your feet. You see what I see, and You see so much more. You know the truth of every situation, every broken promise, every wrong that's been done. I ask You to move on my behalf—not in my timing, but in Yours. Help me to trust that You are a God of justice who cares deeply about the oppressed and the wounded. Give me patience as I wait. Give me peace that surpasses understanding, even when I don't see answers yet. Remind me that You never look away from injustice, and that Your character is perfectly just. I don't have to figure this out alone or take matters into my own hands. You are with me. You are for me. Work on my behalf, Lord, in ways seen and unseen. I surrender this to You and choose to believe that You will bring what is right. Amen.

Father, this season feels impossibly heavy. The injustice I'm facing has worn me down, and I'm tired of waiting, tired of hoping, tired of wondering if anything will ever be made right. Some days I struggle to believe You're listening. Yet I come to You anyway, because I have nowhere else to turn. In this hard season, remind me that Your justice doesn't operate on the world's timeline. You see my exhaustion. You know every tear I've cried. You understand my questions and my doubts, and You love me still. Help me to keep my eyes on You rather than on circumstances that seem unchanging. Strengthen me for today. Give me courage to keep going, even when my faith feels fragile. Show me how to live with integrity while waiting for justice to come. Let me experience Your nearness in this darkness. And when the weight becomes too much, help me lay it down and rest in Your promises. You are faithful, even when I cannot see it. Even now. Amen.

Lord, my heart breaks for someone I love who needs justice desperately. I watch their pain, their confusion, their unanswered questions, and I wish I could fix it for them. But I can't. So I bring them to You, and I ask You to be what I cannot be. Bring justice on their behalf. See what they're enduring. Hear their cry. Move in power and mercy to make things right. Give them courage and strength for each day. Protect their heart from bitterness and despair. Help them know, deep down, that they are not forgotten, not abandoned, and not alone in this. Surround them with people who believe them and support them. Give them glimpses of hope when darkness feels overwhelming. And Lord, work on their behalf in ways I cannot see. I trust You with their story, even though it's hard to wait. Guard them, heal them, and bring justice in Your perfect time. I stand with them in prayer and in faith, believing that You are good and that You care about their suffering. Amen.

Father, even when justice tarries, I declare Your faithfulness over this situation. You are just. You are righteous. You cannot be corrupted, manipulated, or fooled. The scales in Your hands are perfectly balanced. I choose to believe in Your character even when circumstances suggest otherwise. Help me remember that You have been faithful throughout all of history—to Your people, to the hurting, to those who cried out for help. You haven't changed. Your commitment to justice hasn't wavered. Though I may not understand Your timing, I trust that it is wise and good. Give me the grace to wait without growing bitter. Give me the strength to hope without losing myself in false expectations. Anchor my faith in who You are, not in what I can see. Let this season of waiting deepen my trust rather than destroy it. And as I declare Your faithfulness, let me also live it out—extending grace, showing mercy, and standing up for others the way I long for You to stand for me. You are faithful, Lord. Over justice. Over me. Over everything. Amen.
